Dr. Mark Chapman is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency in 1986 at McDonald Women’s Hospital of University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he was elected as executive chief resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Having graduated magna cum laude in pre-med at The Ohio State University, he is a lifelong buckeye fan.

He has enjoyed the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Suburban Medical Center, and University Hospitals for the duration of his career. He welcomes new patients in obstetrics and gynecology. He is particularly committed to bringing minimally invasive treatment options, including “Davinci” robotic surgery to women with problems such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence. An open dialog with patients is always welcome, and individualized, personal care is his top priority. Dr. Chapman has been blessed with a loving wife and three wonderful children.

Dr. David was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. She graduated from Grinnell College (Iowa) and Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis). She has lived in Cleveland since 1978 and completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland where she was the Executive Chief Resident. She also was a Fellow in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Ohio Section of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is the President of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio for 2010-2011. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, with special interest in general gynecology, adolescence and menopause. She is accepting new patients.

Karen Jaffe, M.D. FACOG received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and then graduated from The Wright State University School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in Ob/Gyn at MacDonald Women’s Hospital at University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1990 where she also served as Executive Chief Resident.  Dr. Jaffe is board certified and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Since completing her residency she has enjoyed a long career in private practice and as a Clinical Instructor at CWRU.  She currently serves as Co-Chair of MacDonald’s Women’s Hospital Quality Assurance Committee.   She was given The Distinguished Clinical Service Award by the residents and has been voted by her peers as a Top Doc in Cleveland Magazine since 2006.  Her practice remains open to new patients for obstetric and gynecologic services including contraceptive management and menopausal issues.  In addition, Dr Jaffe currently serves as the only female mohel in the state of Ohio.
